PhD Researcher, University of Malawi

I have experience in climate change related research projects in Malawi and Africa. I worked as a project officer at the University of Malawi (formerly Bunda College) on a USAID funded project called Resilient Africa Network (RAN) that focused on climate change resilience in Chikwawa district - Malawi for 3 years. I also worked as a PhD researcher for the project Called Building Research Capacity for Sustainable Water and Food Security in Dry lands of Sub Saharan Africa (BRECcIA). I was working under climate change Resilience theme at the University of Malawi. This project was implemented by University of Malawi in collaboration with University of Southampton (2019 - 2022). Furthermore, the project involved working with other partners from Kenya, Ghana and United Kingdom. I managed to publish an article from the research project https://doi.org/10.1016/j.indic.2024.100347. I am keen in working within African and around the globe on climate change resilience and Social Ecological Systems (SES).

Key research Interests: Climate change, Resilience, Rural Livelihoods, SES, Environment
