Ginbert Permejo Cuaton is a research postgraduate student at the Division of Environment and Sustainability and the Interdisciplinary Programs Office at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Clear Water Bay campus. His research interests include translations of resilience from extreme weather events to contemporary crises, post-disaster community development, and resilience and adaptation strategies. He has modest publications in topics related to post-Haiyan development in the Philippines. He is also a member of the U-INSPIRE Alliance supported by the UNESCO Jakarta Office.
