Zeynep Deniz Yaman Galantini, urban and region planner, was born in 1984 in Lüleburgaz-Turkey. After she graduated from High School in 2002, she came to Istanbul to study university. From 2002 to 2006 she studied "Urban and Regional Planning" in Istanbul Technical University. She graduated as university degree with 3,57 overall average. During university, she worked in several academic projects as a student research assistant. Later then, she was awarded a scholarship by Politecnico di Milano University where she obtained "Urban Planning and Policy Design" Master of Science degree with 110/110 as final mark in 2008. Her master thesis was about "Conditional Cash Transfers Programs in Turkey". Now she's attending Istanbul Technical University "Urban and Regional Planning" Ph.D. program. She's currently interested in the applicability of resilience in urban planning practices.
