I am currently the director of the International NGO Action Without Borders of the International Union of Architects, UIA, and a Visiting Lecturer at the Urban Studies Department and the School of Earth and Environmental Science at City University of New York (CUNY), Queens College. The last 3 years I have been working on my Ph.D. dissertation on Urban Sustainability and Resilience at the Research Institute for Sustainability Science and Technology in the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), Barcelona Tech, Spain. Since the year 2000, I have played a key role as urban sustainable designer in community development initiatives with stakeholders. In particular, I have worked as a urban sustainability and resilience expert in a variety of urban mobility plans, local Climate Action Plans 2030 (CAP), and Neighborhood Master Plans for the City of Barcelona (Urban Habitat Department), and New York (CUNY) .
