My research generally focuses on urban resilience in the face of climate change. My work is related to bridging the gap between research and application through education that combines effective communication and knowledge co-generation. I am interested in using a systems approach as a designer to create living, livable, resilient cities throughout the world. I am also interested in agroecology and the challenge of creating a resilient agricultural system to support a growing population in a rapidly changing climate.
